A bit about the blog projects I both contribute to and curate.
Virgina Woolf Project
A blog collaboration I created, contributed to and curated, which ran through the month of March 2011. The project celebrated the life and works of Virginia Woolf on the 70th anniversary of her death. ''Hearts Asunder,'' as the site was called, was written about by teacher and journalist Paula Maggio on the creme de la creme of VW blogs-- "Blogging Woolf"-- and was discussed on the official VW Listserv.
Brianna Frets Close To The Equator
A personal travel blog reflecting on life in the Caribbean, journalism, and creativity in general.
Some of my favourite posts have been on the topics of surfing, producing radio in my bedroom, and housing-induced existential anxiety.

Cover Me Songs
Features and reviews of great cover songs and albums on a music blog I sometimes write for. Some favourites include my Freddie Mercury tribute, a review of the latest and final Etta James album (which includes a cover of Guns N' Roses' "Welcome to the Jungle,") and a roundup of the five best covers of Moves Like Jagger (so far).
vODDville
Plate spinners and P. Diddy! The Flying Wallendas and flying cars of the future! vODDvile is a forthcoming web project which, I believe, is the very first of its kind. The idea is, I and/or one of the project's contributors will post a 40-ish minute spread of multimedia programming drawing both from the Vaudeville acts of old and from the many entertaining curiosities we consume today. It is another culture smash of things new and old. The idea is for audience members to pop some popcorn, have a seat with a few friends in front of the screen, and enjoy 40-ish minutes of entertainment bits from the 19th, 20th, and 21st centuries, curated to amuse and delight. An affordable and intriguing diversion for a Friday night.
*Due to internet connection difficulties in the Caribbean and, now, Nigeria, this project is on hold until Brianna can get a stable connection with which to upload lots of fun stuffs. She is working on it!*

The Hindsight Letters
A blog project created by Kyra Schultz wherein she and a slew of guest contributors offer hilarious and heartbreaking advice to their teenaged selves. My favourite contribution to this site (of which I was formerly Assistant Captain) was producing and hosting its inaugural podcast.
The Earnestness Movement
An (arguably failed) attempt to slay the spectre of Sarcasm from the landscape of Canadian media culture.
